Concept Systems Manufacturing, Inc. (CSM) was founded in September 2006 by Richard Diehl in partnership with Novellus Systems. CSM was originated with the sole purpose of building new Concept One Tools with OEM guidance and approval. We are the only company worldwide that is authorized and licensed by Novellus Systems Inc. In 2010, CSM expanded its portfolio to include Novellus Concept 2 and the entire 200mm Gasonics portfolio.

CSM is an aligned partner company to Novellus Systems. This unique, non-competitive partnership, provides the link that enables CSM to manufacture tools of impeccable quality. Our purpose, protocol and standard of excellence are maintained through this relationship. We are continually working with Novellus engineering to produce and implement upgrades in safety, productivity, and serviceability.

CSM follows the exacting standards set by Novellus. We only use Novellus OEM parts. Remanufactured tools may have a small percentage of refurbished material (Generators, RF Matches, etc.) – however this material is refurbished to as new condition by the original manufacturer and is fully covered under the tool warranty. Every tool, whether new or remanufactured, is built from the frame up following the exact manufacturing protocol from sub-assembly to final test. All of our engineers have 15+ years’ experience working for Novellus manufacturing or final test. Our final test and quality assurance (QA), procedure and data are available to our customers for each system purchased.
